Full Time School

Calling all dedicated Performing Arts educators! Your students’ talents deserve recognition, and the National School Theatre Awards® is the platform to showcase their brilliance. Nominate your school and be part of a celebration that applauds the extraordinary efforts put into school productions.

Nominations are open year-round, with our annual ceremony typically held in the last two weeks of June. If your production is in July, rest assured, you’ll still be considered for an award, and someone from our team will attend your performance. Additionally, you might be invited to showcase something at the June ceremony. If your nominated performance wins, you’ll receive your award at the subsequent ceremony. Our rolling nominations ensure that all types of schools can participate.

NSTA Fund

While we are not a charity, our goal is to raise funds and donations to enhance opportunities for student performers. Attending performing arts classes, schools, or colleges can be costly, with some arts colleges charging up to £20,000 a year. As part of our commitment to nurturing young talent, the NSTA Fund aims to support through bursaries, classes, and workshops. Additionally, we strive to improve performing arts facilities in schools across the UK. Importantly, students do not need to have won an award to benefit from the NSTA Fund.

Les Misérables, Westholme School

Our mission is simple: to recognise, celebrate, develop and encourage young talent. We believe that the performing arts can be a transformative experience, giving young people the confidence and skills they need to succeed in all areas of life.

Our Values are:

Celebrate: Celebrate hard-work, talent and achievement.

Connect: Connect UK student performers and drama teachers with industry professionals and each other.

Fundraise: Raise money to give disadvantaged students access to the arts and routes into the industry.
Empower: To give students empowerment through exposure.
